Leisa Abernathy
Leisa Abernathy, Clinic Manager, has been in Healthcare for 24 years in various capacities. Her healthcare career began with coding and billing in neurosurgery. She later moved to urology, where she began her career in office management. Leisa relocated to Mountain Home in 2004 and joined Dr. Moore’s orthopaedic clinic in 2009. Leisa is a member of the AAPC and past member of MGMA and has attended several continuing education courses and seminars.

Laura Connell
Laura Connell, Secretary/Scheduler, relocated to Arkansas in 2015 with her family to enjoy country living. She has 20+ years of experience in a variety of clerical roles in the healthcare industry. Prior to her accepting the secretary position at the Bone and Joint Clinic, Laura was a float secretary for a year for BRMC, as such she covered secretarial vacancies and was trained in all of the BRMC clinics. This opportunity allowed her to bring much appreciated knowledge and suggestions to Bone and Joint Clinic, which have helped to maximize time and resources for her as well as her colleagues. When not working, Laura enjoys making memories with her family.

Jamie Cutsforth
Jamie Cutsforth, Secretary/Scheduler, brought more than seven years of office and coordinating experience when joining the staff of Baxter Regional Bone & Joint Clinic. Her customer service skills have been applauded on numerous occasions by both patients and co-workers. Jamie continues to gain knowledge by being enrolled part-time in specialty courses at ASU-Mountain Home. These abilities will enable the Baxter Regional Bone & Joint Clinic to run smoothly and efficiently while supporting the office mission of providing the highest quality orthopaedic care.
Recently, Jamie finished building her dream home with her two small children. When their busy work and school schedules allow, the family can be found attending sporting events and boating on the surrounding lakes.

Diane Simpson
Diane Simpson, Secretary/Scheduler, relocated to the Mountain Home area with her husband Joey from Republic, Missouri, to be closer to family. She has a customer service-related background, most recently from a headache clinic and a continuing medical education company. When time permits, you can find Diane fishing on the White River. |
